A poll conducted by the Center for Strategic Studies (CSS) at the University of Jordan showed that 31 % of Jordanians resort to more than one source to verify the authenticity of the news, while a fifth receive information about public events from friends and family.

The poll reveals that around 55% of Jordanians said they resort to TV as a source to get news. However, around 21% of Jordanians said they watch Roya TV constantly, while 11% said they watch Jordan TV.

According to the poll's results, only one-third of Jordanians believe that consultation and dialogue are the best ways to express an opinion on an issue or a problem.

The CSS conducted its sixth poll, "Jordanian Index - Street Pulse Survey 6," during the period between 4 and 7 November, on a representative sample of the Jordanian society in the capital and all governorates.

In addition to the most pressing issues facing Jordan at the time of implementing the poll, and the region and the international community, the survey focused on how public opinion in Jordan is shaped and confidence in the various sources of information.
