One person died and three others sustained various injuries on Monday when a car overturned near the Potash company in Karak governorate, according to a statement issued by the Civil Defence Directorate (CDD).

The statement added that paramedics and rescue teams rushed to the scene and administered first aid to the injured before moving them and the dead body to Al-Safi Public Hospital.

"The injured were listed in moderate and critical health conditions," according to the statement.
