Search and rescue teams of the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) managed on Sunday, October 27, 2019, to recover three bodies from under rubble in the 8th Circle area of Amman.

Spokesman for the CDD explained that the deceased, who were identified as Egyptian nationals, were trapped under the rubble while carrying out construction work in the area when the building collapsed.

He mentioned that the bodies were evacuated after strenuous efforts due to the large quantities of dust, adding that special equipment was used to pull out the bodies.

The recovered bodies were evacuated to Al-Bashir Hospital in Amman.
