The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) published a video on its Twitter and Facebook official accounts, showing the preparations it has made and its readiness for next winter.

The video shows GAM's cadres cleaning manholes and underground drainage systems.

These preparations are made to avoid any flashfloods if rain falls heavily during next winter as what happened last year, where the Downtown Amman area witnessed heavy flashfloods, which caused shop owners heavy losses and great damage to their goods.
