Minister of Interior, Head of the Investors' Committee, Salameh Hammad, presided on Thursday, September 19, 2019, over the committee's meeting to amend the conditions of granting citizenship, and to change the residence for investors and their families for a five-year period.

The amendment stems from the Ministry's role in enhancing the investment environment, attracting more investors, localizing existing investments, and creating job opportunities for Jordanians.

The committee has reached a set of recommendations aimed at achieving the desired objectives to serve the public interest and facilitate the needs of investors and citizens alike.

Later, the recommendations will be submitted to the Cabinet to be endorsed and to commence their implementation soon.
