Minister of Interior Salameh Hammad decided on Thursday, September 19, 2019, to keep Al Karameh border crossing between Jordan and Iraq open for 24-hour.

The decision was taken to preserve the public interest and to facilitate the movement of passengers and oil trucks coming from Iraq.
