West Amman court will begin hearing a lawsuit filed by citizens against the Jordanian Teachers Syndicate over the teachers' strike, spokesman for the Syndicate, Nour Al-Deen Nadeem said.
In a phone call with Roya, Nadeem said that the Council of Syndicate informed him that he must attend the first session of the lawsuit on Thursday morning, September 19, 2019.
He added that the lawyer of the Syndicate will be present at the court to attend the session.
However, Nadeem confirmed that a new dialogue meeting between the Syndicate's council and the government team is expected to be held in the next couple of hours to discuss solutions to end the strike.
