Roya has received a telephone call on early Tuesday, September 3, 2019, from a man, who said that his daughter has naturally changed into a "male" after she reached 14 years old, confirming that she didn't undergo any surgeries.

The father stated that at puberty, the girl's "female" sex hormones turned into "male" hormones.

He pointed out that his daughter went through medical examinations at Al-Bashir Hospital, where the reports confirmed that the girl has turned into a "male."

This natural sex change, which has shocked the girl's family, requires medical intervention to fully transform her into a "male."

A sex reassignment surgery is needed, in addition to a surgery for changing the position of the urethra, the girl's father said.

He added that doctors at the Hospital had asked him to take his daughter to a private doctor, who must be a specialist in this field.

The girl was already taken to a private doctor, who said that the surgery will cost JD 10,000.

The father is now appealing to all people to help him pay for the surgery in any public hospital, as he can't afford to pay for it.

At the end of the phone call, the father said that after the surgery is done, he will head to the Civil Status and Passports Department (CSPD) to change the gender of his daughter from "female" into a "male."
