International oil prices drop during third week of August 2019

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said in a statement that the prices of international oil derivatives and Brent crude witnessed a slight decrease during the third week of August 2019, compared to the second week of this month.

The prices of 95-octane gasoline dropped by 0.7% from JD 427.031 ($ 602.3) per tonne to JD 423.840 ($597.8) per tonne, while the price of 90-octane gasoline decreased by 0.8% from JD 402.287 ($567.4 ) per tonne to JD 399.167 ($563).

Diesel prices dropped by 0.4% % from JD 397.607 ($560.8) per tonne to JD 395.906 ($558.4); however, Kerosene prices increased by 0.5% from JD 420.933 ($593.7) per tonne to JD 422.989 ($596.6).

Prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) remained unchanged at JD 255.240 ($360), while Brent crude prices had risen by 2% from JD 41.3347 ($58.3) a barrel to JD 42.1855 ($59.50).
