Jordan ranked second among the top 10 tourist destinations around the world, according to an article published by "Learn Worthy," a website concerned with global tourism.

The article, which was based on extensive research by travel enthusiasts and two prominent travel bloggers, described the Kingdom as "the best choice among countries around the world to visit and spend holidays," and "the safest country in the Middle East."

The site recommended visiting the red-rose city Petra and the Dead Sea, Earth’s lowest elevation on land. It also recommended skydiving over the desert and camping in Wadi Rum.

The website said it carefully chooses its destinations to help people spend pleasant vacations.

The top 10 countries to visit were as follows: Australia, Jordan, Turkey, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Austria, South Africa, Greece, and Spain.
