A Cabinet meeting, chaired by Acting Prime Minister, Rajai Muasher, held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, approved an amended residency location draft law for 2019.

Under the amendments, a personal number will be allocated to foreigners, and their entry and stay in the Kingdom will be regulated to facilitate the follow up on them as well as binding all public and private authorities not to perform any process related to the foreigner until after presenting the said personal number.

The Cabinet also approved two draft laws of the social solidarity fund and the housing fund for Greater Irbid Municipality employees for 2019, for the purposes of setting up the two funds, and identifying other provisions relating thereto, including their financial resources, staff contributions allowances, the manner in which they will be administered, the regulating their affairs and disbursements.

The Cabinet also approved a draft law of distributing amounts collected from municipal courts for 2019.
