A young boy died and a woman sustained various injuries after they were run over by a vehicle this morning in Balqa, northwest of Amman.

The Central Traffic Department (CTD) said in a statement that a traffic investigation committee had been formed to determine the causes of the accident.

Cadres of the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) transferred the dead body and the injured to a nearby hospital.
