The head of the Operations Center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ambassador Sufian Salman Al-Qudah said that, with intensive efforts by the Ministry's Operations Center and our embassy in Ankara, the missing Jordanian citizen, Yazan Al al-Sheikh, was found today in Ankara and located.
Al-Qudah explained that since his family contacted the Ministry and reported his disappearance, our embassy in Ankara has followed up on the case with the Turkish authorities.
It was found later that Yazan has suffered an injury due to a car accident and he is currently in a hospital in Istanbul. His father in Istanbul was contacted and reassured.
Al-Qudah noted that the embassy is currently following up on Yazan's health condition to ensure that he receives the appropriate health care, and will facilitate the procedures for him to return to Jordan immediately after the completion of his medical treatment.
