Members of the Central Traffic Department (CTD) in south Amman caught a pickup truck for overloading of nine extra passengers near the 8th circle in Amman.

"Some of them were sitting in the backseat, while others were sitting inside the trunk, putting their lives at risk, the CTD said in a statement," adding that the necessary legal action was taken.

The CTD reiterated its warning to drivers to not commit such violations, as the overloading of extra passengers would pose a serious risk in the case of a traffic accident.
