In a meeting held on Sunday, June 16, 2019, the Jordanian Syndicates Council called on Jordanians not to participate in the US-led economic peace conference in Bahrain next week.

The Syndicates have renewed their refusal to participate in the Bahrain Conference, which they described as one of the tools of passing the so-called "Deal of the Century ", which aims to liquidate the Palestinian cause through providing economic alternatives to political solutions "money for peace," President of the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA), Ahmad Samara Al Zoubi said in a press statement.

The Council called on all members of the Jordanian syndicates to participate in all the protests that reject the Deal and the Bahrain Conference.

Samara confirmed the support of all syndicates to all protests organized in different governorates of the Kingdom to address the Deal.
