A report received to the Ramtha Police Directorate indicated that a number of people tried to kidnap a girl in the Ramtha district of Irbid, on Thursday, June 13, 2019, spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) stated.

Members of the PSD rushed to the scene, where it was found that those people are the girl's brothers and that there was a family dispute between them, as she had earlier disappeared from her family house.

Accordingly, a security source issued a statement denying what was circulated over news websites about a kidnapping incident.
