Prosecutor at the Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) decided on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, to arrest three people for 15 days on charges of importing nuts and coffee unsuitable for human consumption.

A source at the JIACC said that some traders have imported these rotten materials through companies that have import cards and do not actually operate on the ground.

The prosecutor had earlier decided to put a major nuts trader and two employees at the Jordan Food and Drug Administration for 15 days in custody over the same case.
