Director of the Crossings and Borders in the Palestinian Authority, Nathmi Muhanna, announced that as of Sunday morning, June 2, 2019, the Karameh border crossing will be open around the clock and on the two sides during weekdays, except for Fridays and Saturdays.

As for Friday, the crossing will operate until 10:30 am; however, on Saturdays, it will operate from 7:30 am until 2:00 pm, according to Palestinian media outlets.

Muhanna stressed that all the security and civilian personnel working at the crossings and borders are always ready to cover the work of the crossing, facilitate the movement of passengers and provide all necessary facilities for them.
