Minister of Interior Salameh Hammad has decided on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, to grant a two-month temporary residence instead of one month to those who come to the Kingdom through travel agencies and companies for therapeutic tourism and holders of some unrestricted nationalities.

Tourists to Jordan can get their temporary residence upon their arrival to the border posts and under free visas.

Minister Hammad said that the decision aims at activating the tourism sector, taking advantage of Jordan's natural and therapeutic resources and attracting tourist groups whose members intend to receive treatment in the Kingdom.
