The person, who had assaulted a dentist inside his private clinic earlier on Saturday, May 18, 2019, had surrendered himself to the competent security center where he will be referred to the judiciary, after the dentist filed a complaint against him, a spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said on Tuesday, May 21, 2019.

The dentist has been physically abused by a patient, who usually receives treatment at the dentist's private clinic in Amman, according to the Jordan Dental Association (JDA).

According to the JDA's statement, the person beat the dentist severely, causing him rib fractures, after which the dentist was referred to hospital for treatment.
