A citizen has attempted to commit suicide by jumping off an electric pole in Al Hashemiya area in Zarqa on Sunday, May 19, 2019, eyewitnesses told Roya. 

Witnesses said that the citizen has many social problems, and has earlier asked officials to solve them.

The electric power company in the area cut off electricity from the area to protect the citizen from dying of an electric shock.
