Two brothers were stabbed with a sharp instrument by their brother inside Prince Hussein Hospital in Ein Al Basha area due to family disputes, a security source has said.

The Ministry of Health explained that on Saturday evening, May 18, 2019, a member working at the Emergency Department (ER) in Prince Hussein Hospital has referred his brother, who has been injured in a car accident, to the Hospital for treatment.

The Ministry added that while the injured was receiving treatment, two other brothers arrived, where an altercation occurred, causing them to fight.

The dispute caused the brother working at the Hospital to stab two of his brothers with a sharp instrument, after which he fled immediately.

One of the brothers was moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), while the other was transferred to Prince Hamza Hospital.

This morning, the same security source noted that the two injured are still receiving treatment, where their health conditions were described as moderate.

The source pointed out that the security services are currently searching for the perpetrator.

Earlier this month, security services arrested a man after firing shots at his two brothers in Ein Al Basha, killing one and causing serious injuries to the other.
