Seven citizens were injured on Saturday, May 11, 2019, after a fire had broken out inside a flat in a three-storey building in the eastern district of Irbid.
The fire erupted inside a room, where the seven citizens suffered smoke inhalation, according to a source at the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD).
The source said that the west Irbid CDD cadres rushed to the scene and were able to extinguish, control and prevent the spread of the fire to nearby buildings.
The ambulance teams administered first aid to the injured and transferred them to Princess Basma Hospital, where their health conditions were described as moderate.
