Minister of health visits injured of house fire in Irbid

The Jordanian Minister of Health, Ghazi Zaben visited on Friday evening, May 3, 2019, the injured who are currently receiving treatment at Princess Basma Hospital due to a house fire in Irbid which killed six children of the same family.

Zaben assured the health conditions of the injured and checked on the medical procedures taken since the injured were referred to the Hospital.

During his visit, Zaben was briefed by the Director of the Hospital Dr. Mohammed Bani Yassin on the health conditions of the injured, where Bani Yassin pointed out that three of them still need artificial respirators and are under intensive surveillance while the mother was discharged from the Hospital.

Bani Yassin added that the father has also left the hospital to attend his children's funeral; however, he has to return to continue receiving treatment.

Bani Yassin has pointed out that the neighbor, who had rushed to the scene to help the family, is still receiving treatment and he is in a good health condition.

Minister Zaben instructed Dr. Bani Yassin to provide any medical needs to the injured.
