Jordan’s Land Transport Regulatory Commission (LTRC) has warned citizens on Wednesday, April 23, 2019, of dealing with unlicensed ride-hailing smartphone applications, which have spread recently. 

During a press release, the LTRC called on citizens not to use such applications to protect their rights and safety, as no private car was licensed to work on transporting passengers via these smartphone applications.

The LTRC also appealed to citizens not to use such applications because the drivers employed to work on transporting citizens via these applications are not qualified, unidentified to the Commission and can not be tracked in case of any violations.
