Jordan's tourism revenues reach $1.3 billion in first quarter of 2019

Jordan's tourism revenues during the first quarter of 2019 went up by 5.2% amounting to JD 1.3 billion compared with the same period in 2018, according to data published by the Central Bank of Jordan and the monthly statistical report of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

The Ministry stated that the number of foreign visitors has increased by 33.3% in the first quarter of this year, while the growth rates of overnight visitors have risen by 36%, and the growth rates of tourist groups have reached 19.7%.
