JDs 12,000,000 spent on building schools, improving education in Jordan

Minister of Public Works and Housing Falah Omoush said that eight tenders were submitted to schools in different governorates of the Kingdom as part of the decentralization projects.

These projects will be implemented through the budget of decentralization tenders which were worth JDs 12,000,000 that will contribute to improving the educational field in the Kingdom, Omoush said.

He mentioned that the tenders given to Tafilah will be spent on rehabilitating eight schools, namely Prince Elementary Mixed School, Zain Alsharaf Elementary Girls school, Ain Jalut Elementary Mixed School, Qadseya Boys School, Salma Elementary Mixed School, Um Salama Elementary Mixed school, and Tareq bin Zeyad Elementary Boys school.

In addition, new classroom additions will be established in schools in Ramtha area such as Al Farouq Elementary Boys School.

Omoush pointed out that the establishment of these schools will move the constructions sector, recruit workers in the governorate and provide service to the local community and the people of the area where the schools will be established.
