Chairman of Awqaf Council in Jerusalem, Sheikh Abdul Azim Salhab thanked on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Jordanian people for their stand alongside the occupied city of Jerusalem.

"We cherish the position of King Abdullah II, the Jordanian people and the House of Representatives towards the issue of Jerusalem," Salhab said during a seminar on Jerusalem held at the House of Representatives.

Salhab stressed that Al Aqsa Mosque is in great danger due to daily incursions and the laws issued by the Israeli occupation which aim at removing the Hashemite custodianship over the Islamic and Christian holy places in Jerusalem.
