The House of Representatives unanimously agreed on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, on referring the Israeli-Jordan gas pipeline agreement to the Constitutional Court.

The decision has been taken in order for the Council to obtain the Court's response, which indicates that this agreement must be submitted to and approved by the House of Representatives.

The House of Representative's discussions came despite the fact that it did not officially receive the agreement from the government, but it got it and transferred it to the competent committee, which Chairman translated it, added notes to it and kept it, according to parliamentary sources.

The discussions continued and focused on rejecting the gas agreement and called for dropping it.
