Kuwait announces need for Jordanian teachers

After the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education excluded Egypt from external contracts for the academic year 2019-2020, the ministry officially announced on Monday its need for teachers afrom Palestine, Tunisia and Jordan to work for the educational body with university qualifications for the academic year 2019 2020.

According to the Kuwaiti news agency "KUNA", the ministry identified the required disciplines from Jordan in: English language, mathematics, chemistry, biology, physics, geology for males, and for females: mathematics and physics.

As for Palestine, the Ministry requested specialties: English, French, mathematics, chemistry, biology, physics and geology (for males), mathematics, physics and physical education (for females).

From Tunisia, the Ministry requested the specialization of French (for males) and physical education (for females).

The official Egyptian news agency said that last week, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education issued a decision ending the services of 365 Egyptian teachers and social workers
expatriates who were in contract for the current year 2018-2019.

The Egyptian community occupies the second place of the registered labor force in Kuwait with about 445,798 workers, after the Indian community, which tops at 560,547 workers.
