Former Jordanian Minister Mohammed Dawoudia said that terrorism is without religion or nationality, giving the example of the 1994 massacre of the Ibrahimi Mosque (Cave of the Patriarchs massacre) committed by the Zionist Baruch Goldstein which killed 29 muslim worshippers as a confirmation that extremism is not linked to a specific religion, and that extremist ideas spread in certain circumstances.

He added that Jordan has dealt with the massacre of New Zealand from the very first moment with full responsibility, as His Majesty the King closely followed up on the details, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs set up an operations room to follow up through the Jordanian Embassy in Australia.

Dawoudia considered that the confrontation of this extremist ideology calls for the unity of all sides of society, and encourage dialogue between the various components, and the launch of creative initiatives at the global level to confront this dark ideology.
