Jordan's tourism revenues in February 2019 went up by 11.3% amounting to JOD 249.2 million, compared with 297.7 million JOD in the same month of last year, according to data released by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ).
The CBJ attributed the revenue increase to a 7.5% rise in inbound tourism, compared with February 2018.
During the first the two months of 2019 the tourism revenues went up by 10.0% amounting to JOD 573.9 million, the revenue increase to 5.9% due to a rise in inbound tourism, compared with the same time in 2018, with 743 thousand tourist.
