Saudi Arabia's Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Khalid Al-Falih said that large amounts of gas were discovered for investment in the Red Sea, adding that Saudi Aramco is intensifying exploration operations over the next two years, after confirming the investment feasibility study of the project.

According to the Saudi Press Agency on Thursday, the quantities of oil in the Red Sea are low and expensive for production, ranging between 30-40 dollars due to the depth of its location between 1200 - 1500 meters.
