Commenting on recent flows of leaked information saying that a number of people have been appointed in the government without any job advertisements, His Majesty King Abdullah II said that character assassination and misinformation, which are extraneous to our society and values, are blatant violations of personal life, customs and laws.

His Majesty tweeted, "Information and official documents leakage is unacceptable and immoral. We will not allow it, and the Law will take its own course."

In a second tweet, His Majesty said, "Employment must be based on justice and integrity. At the same time, our youth like Zaid, Lana, Faisal or any others should not be abused or insulted. Job opportunities must be made available to all youth with transparency and equality, within two basic criteria, namely competence and merit," His Majesty added.
