The Mayor of Muwaqqar, Mufleh al-Khudair, said that cadres of Muwaqqar municipality, with the help of the Civil Defense, rescued at the dawn of Friday four citizens who were trapped by floods in Kharanah Valley, which is 60 km away from Muwaqqar.

He pointed out that the citizens were unable to cross the valley as the flow of water was tremendous, explaining that the reason for their presence in that region was to repair one of the mechanisms belonging to a quarry in the desert region.
