An official source at the Ministry of Finance said that authorities have begun cracking down on shop owners selling smuggled cigarettes and tobacco.

The source added that all those who have a direct or indirect relationship with smuggling, selling, marketing, or transporting will be investigated and prosecuted.

The source pointed out that the competent authorities intensified their efforts to prosecute and combat smuggling and smugglers throughout the Kingdom.
