The Ministry of Awqaf Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, Dr. Abdul Nasser Abu Al-Basal, inaugurated on Sunday the Rahman Mosque in the Yadoudah area in Amman. The donation to build the mosque was made by Sheikh Mahmoud Suleiman Abu Odeh at a total cost of 800,000 Jordanian dinars.

Abu Al-Basal said in a speech that building mosques is a great action and reaps great reward from Allah. He stressed that the Ministry of Awqaf pays great attention to the mosques because of the importance of the missionary message in building and preserving society and strengthening Islamic values and good morals among its children, as well as that the mosque is a place to worship God, and his pioneers seek great reward.

It is noteworthy that the estimated area of the Rahman Mosque is about 500 m, and can accommodate more than a thousand prayers, in addition to a prayer room for 200 women, as well as living place for the Imam and another for the Muezzin.
