The Jordanian government denied the existence of complaints against a Jordanian deputy who had a quarrel in a Lebanese casino with a woman in Beirut.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs Sufian al-Qudha said that reports of a filed complaint Jordanian MPs in Beirut on charges of sexual harassment were completely untrue.
He explained that the Jordanian ambassador in Beirut has been in contact with the Lebanese authorities over the past few days regarding this information and that it has been proven that it was not true.
