The construction works of the infamous gas pipeline led to the destruction of the infrastructure in Al Mensheyah area in the northern Jordan Valley district of Irbid.

Citizens are complaining that the streets and infrastructure in the area disappeared under the wheels of heavy machinery that pass through the middle of residential neighborhoods which turned the streets into pools of mud.

Citizens of Al Mensheyah added that their lives have become hell since the start of the gas pipeline construction, where the company's machines operate around the clock, forcing them to live amid the noise and the dust that spread in the area, preventing them from normal life. They demanded a solution and forced the company to compensate for the destruction of the infrastructure.

Maaz bin Jabal Municipality said that residents filed complaints against the Egyptian company in charge of the digging project to extend the gas line, but the municipality has no authority to implement and all they could do was address the competent authorities, who did not give any response.
