As of next year, Israel plans to revoke UNRWA’s school permits (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees).

According to Israeli Channel 12, the Israeli National Security Council held a closed session at the Israeli Prime Minister's Office a few weeks ago, during which the closure of UNRWA institutions in East Jerusalem was discussed, starting next year.

UNRWA schools in East Jerusalem will not be granted permits next year and will be replaced by Israeli municipal schools.
