The Ras Munif monitoring station in Ajloun governorate recorded the highest rainfall during the last 24 hours until 6 am of Thursday, January 17, 2019, with 39.4 mm of rain and 15 cm of snow. Irbid followed with 37.5 mm of rain.

According to the report issued by the Meteorological Department (JMD) on Thursday, heavy rainfall hit the northern regions of the Kingdom, with 12.1 mm in Al Baqura and 11.0 mm in Al Rayan valley.

Central areas of Jordan: Amman Civil Airport 25.8 mm, Queen Alia Airport 3.2 mm, Salt 28.5 mm and 5 cm of snow, Al Hussain Gardens 9.0 mm and 8.5 cm of snow, Al Jubeiha 22.5 mm, downtown 29 mm, and Zarqa 12.4 mm.

In the southern regions: Shobak 0.2 mm, Al Rabba 2.0 mm, Ma'an 0.5 mm, and Qatraneh 7.3 mm.
In the eastern regions: Safawi 2.1 mm, Mafraq 10.4 mm, and Al-Azraq 1.7 mm of rain was recorded.
