An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale struck west of the city of Aqaba at 5:05 pm local time yesterday, January 15, 2019, according to Petra news agency.
Head of the Jordanian Earthquake Observatory, Dr. Mahmoud al-Qariuti, said the quake occurred at a depth of 8 kilometers west of the city of Aqaba and was felt by the residents.
