The Ministry of Education has declared Wednesday, January 9, 2019, an official day off for all schools in the Ajloun Governorate, north of Jordan, due to bad weather conditions.

Media Spokesman for the Ministry, Waleed Al Jallad, noted that the suspension does not include Tawjihi students, stressing that their exams remain on schedule.

Ajloun witnessed heavy snowfall early Wednesday with limited snow accumulations and without any road closures, according to Roya’s Ajloun correspondent.

Yesterday, the Ministry of Education said that it was up to each Ministry Directorate in each Governorate to decide whether schools would be out on Wednesday and Thursday or not.
