Cadres of the Civil Defense Department (CDD) rescued 14 people trapped in snow on Sunday, January 6, 2019, near Ajloun National University in Ajloun Governorate.

“14 people were in three snow-trapped vehicles and the rescue teams extricated them and they were returned to their homes,” a spokesman for the CDD, Eyad Al Amro, said in a statement to Roya.

Amro confirmed that everyone was in good health condition, and that there were no injuries.
