The heavy fog that Jordan has been experiencing since the early morning hours has diverted three flights from Queen Alia Airport to King Hussein Airport in the southern city of Aqaba.

"The flights that were diverted were coming to the capital Amman from Erbil, Bangkok and Dubai," said Zaia al-Numan, director of media at the airport management group.

She pointed out that the traffic at Queen Alia airport is irregular due to heavy fog and invited passengers to contact the airport queries by telephone 065002777 to see the latest developments regarding their flights, and called on passengers to communicate with their airlines.
