Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply and the European Union held a press conference on Monday December 17, 2018, to discuss rules of origin agreement.

The Minister of Industry Tariq al-Hammouri pointed out that one of the main obstacles to of Jordanian exports to Europe is the difficulty of achieving the requirements of rules of origin.

He said that the Ministry reduced the number of Syrian workers in the agreement of rules of origin to 60 thousand Syrian workers, that is 15% instead of 25%.
