King departs to Belgium for work visit
King departs to Belgium for work visit

His Majesty King Abdullah II left the kingdom on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 on a working visit to Belgium to discuss opportunities for strengthening cooperation and partnership between Jordan, Belgium, the European Union (EU) and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

During his visit, His Majesty will hold talks with Belgian Prime Minister, Charles Michel and will meet with European Council President, Donald Tusk, European Commission President, Jean-Claude Juncker and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini.

His Majesty will also call on the NATO headquarter, where he will be meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, along with members of the NATO Council.

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein was sworn in as regent during his Majesty’s visit to Belgium.
