The Tel Aviv-Amman gas pipeline will be completed within a few weeks, “Israel Hayom” reported on Monday, December 10, 2018.

The pipeline will be in operation by the end of next year, to provide Jordan with 3.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually, noting that the pipeline is 23 km long and 36 cm in diameter.

The Israeli Minister of Energy, Yuval Steinitz, said "We are in the advanced stages of laying the Israel-Jordan natural gas pipeline, which will enable significant exports of natural gas from Israel to Jordan during the coming year.”
