A search unit at the Ministry of Social Development has begun looking for an elderly homeless man, who is believed to be sick and in need of help.

Concerned citizens informed the ministry about the man’s whereabouts, who was sleeping rough near a petrol station in the Wadi Sqara area in Amman.

The Kingdom is currently experiencing a wave of cold, rainy weather, which will certainly have a negative impact on the man’s health, whether he is or isn’t sick already.

A search party kicked off early Friday morning, December 7, but to no avail.

Once the man has been found, the ministry will send him off for a medical examination and will contact his family to offer them and him the help they need.
