Jordan has two more public holidays to enjoy just before and straight after the year 2019 lands on our doorsteps, and they both fall on a Tuesday.

Christmas Day (December 25) and New Year’s Day (January 1) are the two official days off you can look forward to.

Christmas is a wonderful time in the Kingdom, with dozens of shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and houses putting up a Christmas tree, decorations and fairy lights, and hosting festive events for the jolly season.
